THE MASKS

Behind every mask hides a countenance.

repugnant is the soul beneath the flesh.

captivating on the surface level, where

the benevolence of wisdom finds no

place.  under whatever aspect I possess,

it is mine to own.  what lies further

beneath, speaks the truth.  how on earth

could I survive the persecution, the

bleak deficiency of employment, absent

my screens of substitution?  to meet

man-made conventional tasks, leading

to my lost soul's execution,  allow me to

retain the masks.  it's my only

retribution.  while I wear many masks,

the divine soul teaches, the divine soul

asks, why so many masks?
